In this painting Ken Tielkemeier portrays a knifing that he had seen with his own eyes on the streets in Brooklyn. The artist was so shocked by this that he decided to represent this scene in one of his paintings. In the painting we see men with helmets armed with clubs and knives while they are beating a man. In the lower part of the painting there are dogs and on the right a christmas tree.
